Malaysia My Estate is a blog and news publication about Malaysian property, real estate and construction. Our current focus is Kuala Lumpur: the homes people choose, the neighbourhoods they live in and the developments changing the city.
Our coverage
Kuala Lumpur comes first.
KLCC, TRX and Bukit Bintang are our main areas. We also cover Jalan U Thant and Ampang Hilir, Bangsar, Damansara Heights and Mont Kiara when there is something useful to explain.
Some articles help with an immediate decision, such as choosing a neighbourhood or understanding a condo bill. Others explain property news, a construction project or a change to the city. A future discussion forum is part of our plans, but this website is currently a publication, not an active forum.
Buying and renting
Clear explanations of costs, property types and the decisions that come with owning or renting a home. Worked examples are labelled as examples, not presented as market prices.
News and construction
Property announcements, development updates and construction stories relevant to Kuala Lumpur. A proposed project, a building under construction and an operating development are different things.
